NJDMV Date is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission or the State of New Jersey.

The service

NJDMV Date displays appointment openings observed on the public NJ MVC scheduling portal and can alert signed-in Apple-app users when an opening matches an Appointment Watch. It never books, holds or cancels an appointment. Booking happens only on the official booking portal.

No guarantee of an appointment

Openings can change, disappear, be delayed, be incomplete or be incorrect before you book. Another person may book first. Always confirm the office, service, date, time, eligibility, fees and required documents on official NJ MVC pages and in your confirmation. The service is informational and is not government, legal or professional advice.

Accounts and eligibility

You may browse without an account. Appointment Watches require Sign in with Apple. You must be at least 13, provide accurate watch choices, keep access to your Apple account secure, and use the service only for yourself or someone you are authorized to assist. You may delete your account at any time in the app.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, defeat its security or rate limits, use it to burden the official booking portal, resell access, impersonate another person, or use it unlawfully. We may limit or suspend abusive access to protect users, providers and the service.

Notifications and third-party services

Alerts are a convenience, not a guarantee. Delivery depends on device settings, networks, Apple systems and service availability. Links to the official booking portal, maps, calendars and app stores take you to third-party services governed by their own terms. NJDMV Date does not control a booking or transaction made there.

Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features may change, pause or end, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, security or provider changes. We may update these Terms prospectively; a new version date will be posted, and account users may be asked to agree again when appropriate.

Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for a missed appointment, lost opportunity, travel, fees, data loss, indirect damage, or reliance on an alert or displayed opening. Nothing here excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer-protection rights.

Apple terms

For the Apple app, these Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the service, support, claims or third-party rights except as that standard agreement requires.

Ownership and feedback

NJDMV Date, its original software, design and content are owned by the operator or used under license. New Jersey MVC names, marks and source information belong to their respective owners. If you voluntarily send feedback, the operator may use it to improve the service without payment or obligation to you.

Territory and severability

The service is operated from New Jersey, United States, for people using New Jersey MVC services. If a provision of these Terms cannot be enforced, it will be limited only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.
